OUR SERVICES

Archaeology

Protecting cultural artifacts and areas is paramount to our work. As trained archaeologists and anthropologists, we work with project developers to undertake reviews and land evaluations with our partners, ensuring the proper management of heritage resources.

Traditional Land Use Studies

We work closely with community Elders and Knowledge Holders, assessing the impacts of industrial projects within Xatśūll First Nation’s territory. Our skilled team of project managers, anthropologists, historians, and researchers, focuses on information collection, community engagement, and capacity building to produce high-quality reports for use in regulatory and negotiation settings.

Socio-Economic Studies

Our studies help project owners identify how industrial and public infrastructure developments impact local communities. When conducting research, we go beyond assessing standard value components such as demographics and income by including data related to culture, language, gendered perspectives, and Indigenous rights.

Environmental Monitoring

Projects today require robust environmental monitoring of species and processes during the lifecycle of development. Utilizing our trained professionals, we support environmental impact assessments, project construction, operations, and remediation efforts with environmental monitoring services.

Cultural Heritage Monitoring

Our cultural heritage monitoring teams offer archaeological and cultural support for every stage of a project. We work closely with local knowledge holders and community members to support various residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Mapping and GIS

We work closely with clients on initial site and route planning, figure preparation, habitat delineation, statistical analysis, and baseline modelling. We can assist with classifying wetlands, developing ecological, land, and terrestrial models, and supporting environmental assessments. We also produce maps and communications material for community engagement and regulatory processes.

Project Management

Our work is increasing in size and scope. Thanks in part to our partnership with resource management professionals across B.C., we can offer full "turnkey" project management support for small-to-mid-sized projects in our territory. We'll work with you to set realistic milestones and always follow the mantra of "under-promise, over-deliver."

Regulatory Support

We help industry and government proponents work through local, provincial, and federal regulatory processes. With a focus on environmental assessments, socio-economic reporting, traditional land use research, stakeholder engagement, and Indigenous relations support, we have experience working in the mining, forestry, energy and public works sectors.
